Our Story

What’s for Dinner? started out of my home kitchen in Savannah twelve years ago. I was homeschooling my three children and looking for a little extra income. A FaceBook page for 30 of my friends quickly escalated into preparing 300 dinners a week to a community of busy families. My husband, David, a trained chef, and I decided to open a store front just to get the smell of homemade enchilada sauce out our home! What’s for Dinner? opened in Sandfly, a small coastal neighborhood in Savannah in 2016. Our second location in RIchmond HIll, GA followed in 2021, and we are blessed to have opened our third store in Pooler, GA in 2024.

Throughout our ten years in business, we have pursued a simple mission: to provide a variety of home-cooked meals, giving our customers back precious quality time for friends and family. We use fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation to ensure that during all of life’s seasons, meal planning, preparation, and tidying up after becomes one less thing.
